The CW Cancels 'Legends Of Tomorrow'
Word is out that The CW has cancelled DC's Legends of Tomorrow after seven seasons. Co-showrunner Keto Shimizu took to Twitter this evening with the news, expressing her sadness about the cancellation as well as her gratitude towards those who worked on the show.
Premiering in 2016 as an ensemble series featuring characters spun-off from other DC Comics shows on the network, Legends of Tomorrow takes place in the same shared universe but with a time travel twist. The series has had an impressively long run, surpassing the 100-episode milestone during its now-final season.
The cancellation is The CW's second DC-based series to get the ax today. 'Batwoman' was also cancelled by the network after three seasons.

After her standout performance as Nora Darhk last season, actress Courtney Ford has been upped to a series regular on the CW show. She joins fellow castmates Matt Ryan and Jess Macallan — who play John Constantine and Agent Eva Sharpe, respectively — as members upped to series regular. Keiynan Lonsdale, on the other hand, will be departing as series regular.

According to the character description, “Zari lives in a world of contradictions. Technology has brought about incredible change in her future too bad human nature hasn’t kept pace. Fear, prejudice, and a lack of care for the planet have forced Zari to become a ‘grey hat hacktivist.'”

Legends Of Tomorrow Casts Sarah Grey As Stargirl
Set to star in the series' second season, Stargirl will join heroes Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Dr. Mid-Nite, and Obsidian. The latter two characters have yet to be cast, but EW was able to confirm that Commander Steel would be played by Matthew MacCaull. Amaya Jiwe will also be joining The Justice League of America as Vixen.
