CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

CSI is an innovative, new type of crime drama in which the characters use cutting-edge forensic tools to examine the evidence to solve the case. Rather than a 'whodunnit' cop show (investigating witnesses / suspects), CSI explores the 'howdunnit'. CSI has been the number one scripted series in the Nielsen ratings for three years running. This is the first of 3 CSI series. AKA: CSI Las Vegas

Paul Guilfoyle Leaving 'CSI' After 14 Seasons
Some sad news for loyal CSI: Crime Scene Investigation fans. Paul Guilfoyle, who is one of the last remaining original stars of the series, is exiting the forensic drama in May. For 14 years, Guilfoyle has played Captain Jim Brass, but now the character will be written out of the show come this season finale on May 7th. Sources are confirming that producer’s decided to end Brass’ storyline. Sources also report that Guilfoyle found out last week he would not be returning to the procedural.

PS: Any company advertising their services or products on this show (CSI) will automatically be boycotted by me and my family members! The producers are the ones who need to be sacked because they are idiots!

The arbitrary removal of Capt Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) will end my patronage in watching this show! I want to know why these dumbed down morons removed him from the show! This will leave only one or two of the original cast! I am done CBS!

I have to admit, this actor has done well. However, the series itself, ran out when William Petersen left the series. I then got use to seeing Laurence Fishburne , to which I really liked him as a good replacement for Grissom. I really do not like Ted Danson in this series. I do like him as an actor in other series, but for some reason its just not a fit for him in this series. I had watched the show from time to time to watch the other actors, mentioned here BRASS, he is one that stayed and did well. I hate to see him leave as well. I realize new blood has to come in, but some actors just do not fit well in some series, that they do well in others. I do hope to see Paul Guilfoyle in other shows and perhaps a steady on one. CSI the original series was always awesome, but most of the awesome went away as the original main characters left. As noted in the other CSI show New York, this was another great series, suddenly done. ONe I really liked. As well as Miami. Why is it all the good stuff, leaves... It will be difficult to replace Brass's character, just as they tried to replace other main characters, its not awesome any more, never will be.
