Cougar Town Renewed For Sixth And Final Season
TBS has ordered a 13 episode sixth and final season of the ABC Studios produced comedy Cougar Town, set to air in 2015. The pick up for a final season, which comes two months after season five finished its run on the cable network, ensures that the series will have 102 episodes in the can by the time it wraps its run, two more than ABC Studios needed to be able to sell the comedy in syndication. Cougar Town began its life on ABC, where it aired its first three seasons. It was in 2012, when it looked like the series might be cancelled that TBS stepped in and picked up a fourth season of Cougar Town.
'Cougar Town' Casts Matthew Perry For Season Five
Matthew Perry, who lured Courteney Cox to his short-lived NBC comedy 'Go On' last season, is repaying the favor by guest-starring on 'Cougar Town.' No word on who Perry is playing, but his episode is expected to air towards the end of the TBS comedy’s fifth season which premieres on January 7th 2014.

13 new episodes of the Courtney Cox comedy have been ordered for what will be the show's second season on its new network since moving from ABC this year.Season 5 of Cougar Town will return sometime in 2014. The show's fourth season finale will air on April 9, 2013.
