AT&T Audience Network announced today that Condor has been picked up for a second season. Premiering last month, the book and movie-based thriller is off to a solid start through its first seven episodes, with critics praising its acheivement in updating the spy story from its source material.
Inspired by the novel "Six Days of the Condor" by James Grady and the 1975 Sydney Pollack film "Three Days of the Condor," the series follows conflicted CIA operative Joe Turner, who makes a discovery that results in his entire office being killed. Forced to go on the run as the only remaining survivor, Joe must now fight for his life and find out the truth about this conspiracy in order to stop whoever is behind it from fulfilling their deadly goal that threatens potentially millions of people.
