Michael Westen is a trained spy; while on assignment he receives a "burn notice" for an unstated reason, effectively he is fired. Penniless and dumped in his hometown of Miami, he tries to get his life in order. So Michael freelances his skills to earn money in an effort to find out who burned him and why.

BOO! shame, shame, shame on whoever made the moronic decision to end this program. I will miss it terribly; the characters as well as the actors. they all meshed so well together. the casting was excellent. I wish each actor great success in their future endeavors and wish to thank them all for the many hours of entertainment they provided to their loyal fans.

Another great and relevant show discontinued just when the characters have so much to contribute to the current reality...t to mention Michael, Sam and Fionna are just such intelligent characters and the shows are so entertaining they finish seemingly moments after beginning ... leaving one seeking more...great weekends show, should be continued !! personally, I find myself sick to death of stupid reality shows proliferating all over the tv scheduling, and the inane unintelligent talk shows which talk for the sake of talking/mouthing off, .... meanwhile, any decent show with an intelligent storyline, intelligent theme/issues, avant-garde thinking, inspired tech applications, progressive democracy supportive governance, .... all essential Futurist 'stuff' which americans out of school can only get from tv .... yet the dumbest stuff is kept and the smart stuff is kicked ...what is wrong with tv channel schedulers/program choosers/tv script writers ... no wonder the usa is rapidly sliding down the global intelligence-scale...

it was a great show one of my favorites. i have many shows ending this year sad to see them all go. burn notice is one of the shows ill never forget, like human target which ended a few years ago. the glades is also ending i heard another great one. all i can say is why do all the good ones end and hope another great one comes along. there arnt that many left.

Dear Michael, I am so saddened that your Fabulous show has come to an end. The cast will sorely be missed and I loved watching each week. I also liked when you would give little tibbits when in a tight jam. It was a GREAT SHOW and I will miss you ALL!! Much Success to You All !! So glad You and Fiona made it out together.

We are heart-broken this fantastical show is ending....I'm a hard core fan and have been since Season 1, Episode 1...we even named our boat EZ-PZ because Sam (Bruce) likes to use that expression a lot! Michael/Jeffrey is so handsome and sexy...well, I can't put the rest of that here but he is hotter than _____!! I think Fi is the only woman on the planet that could even keep someone like Mike interested for this long...she definitely has way more than most men can handle! Love those sexy outfits she wears....she's also very good acting on BN as well as the dozens of other TV movies she has been a part of. Always watch a show if GA is in it! Same thing is true with Sam/Bruce too! Love those amazing shirts too! He fits the role in BN to a T as does Mike's mom, from Cagney & Lacy (back in the day) and have grown very fond of Jesse too. He's a super nice guy and also very handsome! We found it very funny that "Maddy" is finally quitting her 7-season chain-smoking habit...I guess so the little boy won't die of 2nd hand smoke...pretty funny! She's been the female version of Bogart! We never "got" why the writers/producers thought it was necessary for her to chain smoke to be interesting... trust me...she's plenty interesting without being an addict to smoking! I loved seeing her in this type of show and lately she's become a "full on player!" Well...I could go on and on...but with Breaking Bad, Dexter, and now this show all ending...I'm going to be on anti-depressants for years to come. I'll miss this show and will NEVER forget it as long as I live! Will be watching the re-runs until they end those too. Take care, TV pals....may you all live long, healthy, rich and happy lives. Why is it that the Networks ALWAYS get rid of the good shows like Burn Notice and Terra Nova and have the mind set to keep something like Necessary Roughness? Now if on Burn Notice you have all the ties tied and we know the whys then please make its finale just as spectacular as the show was. Fair thee well You've done yourselves PROUD!

lf I hate to see Burn Notice come to an end. It has been my one of my favorite shows from beginning to end. I will watch reruns. Hope to see the characters again in a television movie together . Please don't leave the ending of the show in a cliff hanger mode. Will have to find another show to watch on Thursdays.

Why is it that the Networks ALWAYS get rid of the good shows like Burn Notice and keep the crap shows like Psych and Suits... Now I have to find another network to watch on Thursdays.

This is so upsetting. I love Burn Notice. Along with NCIS this is my favorite series. Please don't take it off the air. I hate when it goes off and can't wait until it begins again. My other favorites are Castle, Suits, and Body of Proof. Why don't they take off Necessary Roughness is stupid as far as I am concerned. Please tell us why? Please reconsider.

Burn Notice is one of the best shows on USA along with NCIS. Don't terminate Burn Notice. Michael, Fiona, Madelyn, and Sam will be missed. If USA needs to terminate shows, I suggest Royal pains and Necessary Roughness. Mike and Fiona forever

the show has had a good run and has been fun, but he got he badguys, then he got them again and again...... there is only so many times there can be another behind the others.

Why is Burn Notice ending? This has been one of the best shows on tv, it is my favorite, I'm very sad to see it ending. Burn notice has a huge following. I also vote to keep it going. The camaraderie between the characters is dynamic, the plots are exciting add the humor, it is totally entertaining.

I would prefer another twist in the show. Maybe they really didn't get their guy. Considering all the twists and turns that have happened throughout the series it is definitely plausable. Will miss it tremendously. Absolutely love the show. Really do not want to see it go. I'd vote to keep around for another few seasons.
