The Aniverse is populated by humanoid animals. The free worlds are threatened by toads under the control of the insane computer, Komplex. The sole defense consists of a single ship ('The Righteous Indignation') commanded by Captain Bucky O'Hare. The ship's Photon Accelerator seriously malfunctions resulting in opening of a dimensional portal to the room of a human boy called Willy Dewitt.
