A Dodgers fan and straight A student, Alan's life includes his parents George and Phyllis, Nathaniel his younger brother and grandparents Jules and Sophie. Although Jewish Alan's girlfriend is Katie Monahan a Catholic schoolgirl whose strict Father is a police detective. Cultures tend to clash but usually just for the older people. Alan's best friends are Benny Belinsky and Warren Butcher.
Character Bio
Alan and Nathaniel's dad, who's employed in the box room at the Post Office. Since he often works the evening shift, the boys don't see him a lot during the workweek, so a day off with Dad is always a treat. George grew up in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, on south 6th Street.
