Bob and Margaret are a married couple. Bob is a dentist and Margaret is a chiropodist. They face the same challenges that normal people deal with every day, from parenthood to finding a good parking space. For the first two seasons, the show was set in London. However the characters moved to Toronto therafter when the production company did likewise.
