Big Brother, which began in 2000, has become an annual tradition for fans; every summer they are treated to new houseguests, new challenges, and new evictions! Each week, there is a Head of Household challenge, where all of the players compete for the power in the house. The HoH then nominates two other houseguests for eviction.

'Big Brother' Renewed For Season 23
CBS announced today that Big Brother will has been picked up for a 23rd season. The good news comes just hours before the long-running reality show's current all-star season 2-hour finale, which will see a new winner crowned.
On the air for two decades, the veteran series continues to be one of TV's top-rated reality shows. Airing three nights a week, each of its episodes consistently draw solid viewership against its prime time competition.
In each season of Big Brother, a group of people move into a house together under the watchful eye of dozens of cameras that record their every move 24 hours a day. Each week one houseguest is voted out of the house until just one remains, receiving a $500,000 grand prize.
Look for Season 23 of Big Brother in the summer of 2021, with Julie Chen Moonves once again returning as host.
'Big Brother' Renewed For Season 22
CBS announced today that Big Brother will be returning next summer for its 22nd season. The good news comes with three weeks remaining in the reality show's current run.
The veteran series continues to be one of the summer's top rated shows. Airing three nights a week, each of its episodes consistently rank in the top 5 programs among adults 18-34.

'Big Brother' Renewed For Season 21
At the end of tonight's Big Brother finale, host Julie Chen announced that the reality show will be returning next summer for its 21st season. She also confirmed that the already-renewed Celebrity Big Brother is set to air its second season this winter.
There have been questions recently about Chen's future with the Big Brother franchise. She abruptly left her other gig at CBS as co-host of The Talk earlier this month after her husband, Les Moonves, was ousted from his role as CEO and chairman of the network. While it is uncertain at this time as to whether Chen will stay on as the host of Big Brother, in making tonight's announcement she did say, "We will also see you again next summer."
Big Brother 19 has begun, with the unexpected being the star of the show. Wednesday June 28 the Pre-recorded Premier aired, Thursday night the Live Feeds on CBS All Access will begin.

As it did in 2014, CBS announced today that Big Brother has been renewed for another two seasons - its 19th and 20th. The popular reality show continues to dominate the summer, consistently winning its time slots and having all three of its weekly episodes rank in the top 5 programs among adults 18-34.
Today's news comes one week after the first-ever digital edition of Big Brother was announced exclusively for CBS All Access, the network's streaming video-on-demand service. That version of the show will act as an extension of the brand, with a shorter run in the fall and tweaks to its format, rather than an official season.
Julie Chen will be staying on as host of Big Brother, for both the digital edition and Seasons 19 and 20. Look for Season 19 next summer, with Season 20 airing in the summer of 2018.
'Big Brother' Renewed For Two More Seasons, Through 2016
CBS renewed Big Brother for two more seasons, slated to run in Summer 2015 and 2016. The show is currently in it's 16th season, hosted by Julie Chen, and has held solid ratings for the network. The reality show 'Big Brother' will be back for its sixteenth edition next summer. Out of pure magical coincidence, CBS renewed the series with just under a week to go until next Wednesday's special 90-minute season finale crowns a winner. The deal also means that 'Big Brother After Dark,' will return next summer, too.
