I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bates Motel, so upset that I have not been able to watch season two, I watch it on Netflix, and have watch season one three times. I don't have cable, so I have to wait to see when, and if Netflix will pick up season two. Can't wait!!! I have even become angry today because I hungered for a day of Bates Motel, and have to except the fact that I can't have it right now, I'm not very good with not getting what I want! I hate this new way of life at times so very much, because of way to many injuries, I have become one of low income, so I can't have cable service. Can't wait to get my Bates Motel Fix, I haven't enjoyed a program as I do this one in many years. I thank you for this cool program. Sincerely From a Huge Fan, Jodi H

Well, for being the first episode of this new season, it went pretty well. I liked it. I did not find it as creepy as many other viewers thought it was going to be. Norma is behaving normally as any other woman would behave-she was happy and smily. We see Norman acting normal but we see him holding some beads that belonged to the teacher-did he really kill her? At the cemetery he was the only one crying with a lot of emotions-Why the teacher's dead made him so sad? Was it because she was a very good teacher with him and accepted and encouraged him but he killed her? One scene I liked a lot was when he was driving and he was sassy with Norma. I saw the driving scene as a metaphor of independence-when one learns to drive, one feels the king of the world-free, independent, I am not a baby or little boy/girl anymore. So I think here he expresses his desire to be independent, to make his own decisions, but he got angry with Norma for constantly nagging at him-even though for me Norma was not nagging, she was trying to teach defensive driving skills to Norman. Norma expresses a desire for Norman to do "normal things" , so she does not seem a controlling, jealous abusive mother. At the end, he has to tell Norma what he thought happened when the teacher was killed and later he is woken by Bradley.
