After the death of her husband, Norma Bates buys a motel in the picturesque coastal town of White Pine Bay, giving herself and her son Norman a chance to begin anew. Shy Norman is reluctant at first, but with the help of his mother he begins to open up to others and make new friends. Some locals, however, aren't as friendly and welcoming to the Bates.

Character Bio
Alex Romero is the Sheriff of White Pine Bay. Sheriff Romero carries a moral integrity throughout the town. He expects the White Pine Bay to follow his lead. He soon gets involved in Norma's life after an event occurs inside the Bates Motel.
