Bang Goes The Theory (UK)
From exploring the world's most advanced technological breakthroughs to learning how we can test and manipulate scientific principles in our own backyard, this series will put scientific theory to the test. Four presenters – Dallas, Liz, Jem and Dr Yan Wong – will pool their knowledge and their curiosity to put science into action in a series co-produced with The Open University (OU).

Character Bio

As well as being a consummate presenter, French-born and Dublin-raised Liz is a bona fide scientist. She has a degree in biochemistry from Trinity College, Dublin, and a master’s degree in wild animal biology and conservation from the Zoological Society of London.
She graduated with a distinction and a bundle of prizes for the best this and that, including for her tiger research, and remains involved in big cat conservation work.
And her studies have paid off - as well as co-presenting Bang, Liz is part of the Stargazing LIVE team on BBC Two, and her Super Smart Animals series was a big success on BBC One. She has also filmed a Siberian Tiger project for BBC Two.
You may even recognise Liz from her days before Bang, on Top of the Pops, Brat Camp Unseen (E4), and RI:SE (Channel 4).
Her science presenting goes way back too, having fronted a four-part documentary series called Science Friction for Irish channel RTE, covering topics such as nuclear power, stem cell research and obesity.
