FOX Cancels 'Almost Human'
Fox has cancelled sci-fi entry Almost Humanafter airing one 13 episode season of the JJ Abrams produced series. Created by J.H. Wyman Almost Human is a cop drama set in 2048 when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. The series debuted on Fox back in November 2013 to a strong 9.2 million viewers and a 3.1 A18-49 rating. Despite that strong launch, the series, which Fox aired out of its intended order, continued to shed viewers throughout its run, with the season finale pulling in 5.6 million viewers and a 1.5 A18-49 rating. The news of the cancellation comes after Fox has already either renewed or cancelled most of their line up and picked up several new shows for next season.
