“60 Days In” offers an unprecedented look at life behind bars at Indiana’s Clark County Jail as seven innocent volunteers are sent to live among its general population for 60 days without officers, fellow inmates, or staff knowing their secret.
A&E announced today that 60 Days In has been renewed for two additional seasons. The docu-series premiered early last year and already has two seasons under its belt. Reception to the new show has been strong, with it ranking as 2016's top unscripted crime-related series on cable TV among key demographics and total viewers (Live+7).
60 Days In follows innocent civilians who agree to enter an unprecedented program in which they pose as prisoners within the dangerous walls of a correctional facility. For Seasons 3 and 4, the show is moving inside Atlanta's Fulton County Jail, which houses five times the number of inmates as previous seasons. Two groups of participants will participate over the upcoming two seasons, with males and females this time separated in two different facilities.
Season 3 of 60 Days In premieres on Thursday, March 2 at 9:00pm
