US Marine-turned-thespian Travis Aaron Wade (born September 27, 1975) in Los Angeles, California. His family moved moved to Glendora, CA in the late seventies where Wade was raised an eventually attended Charter Oak High School in Covina. There Wade excelled in sports, including HS Football where he was Captain of the Varsity Football team his senior year.
After graduation Wade immediately left to serve his country in the Corp as an 0311 grunt, spending 4 years training with Golf Co. 2/23 4th Marine Division. It was there he became an Expert at shooting the M16, an M249 Saw Gunner, and took Sniper Courses with STA Special Ops on Hawaii's South Shore. After receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1998 Wade attended Citrus College in Glendora, CA, majoring in criminal law & theater, and discovered his need to explore human emotions which were stripped away from him in the military.
Wade landed his first lead role in the The Fix (2005), which went on to win LA Film Festivals Best Drama and led to Travis working with Oscar winning directors 'Steven Spielberg', and Sam Mendes.
The cult thriller Pig Hunt (2008), gave Wade action star status and opened up the door to work on award winning television shows such as The Closer (2005), Cold Case (2003), Criminal Minds (2005), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) to name a few
Starring alongside 'John Travolta' in two films coming out in 2014 Criminal Activities(2015) and The Forger (2014) Travis's star is on the rise and with the announcement of his new role as Cole on the CW's 10th Season of its hit series Supernatural (2005) sky's the limit.
Wade is managed by Loch Powell at Leverage Management and Monica Barkett at Global Artists Agency.
Wade's philanthropic work around the world has led to teaching the children of Vietnam over the past 5 years. He is the personal coach/instructor for the Vietnamese contestants in both the 2008 Miss Universe and the 2010 Miss Vietnam & 2011 Miss Universe.
Arm the Animals (www.armtheanimals.com) is a charitable T-Shirt company that donates percentages of sales to help animals in need was created by Wade and his business partners in 2011 along with a patented invention "in the candle world that will reshape the entire candle industry and save lives", through his company Sin Cera.
Travis was honored by the City of Los Angeles with a "Local Hero" Certificate of Appreciation by City Council Members Paul Krekorian, Gil Garcetti Jr. & Former LA Chief of Police Chief Willie Parks because he jumped inside an overturned en-flamed vehicle and saved the life of 72 year old, Roslyn Busch, 72 in March of 2010.
