He was best known for his role as Edward Pillows in DAG. He was married to actress Alexondra Lee. Dunham had a role in The Mummy as Henderson, the obvious cowboy and one of the American treasure hunters in the film. He also played Peter in What I Like About You and Amanda Cantwell's boyfriend, Chad, in the series True Jackson, VP. He was also known for his role as Charlie Thorpe in Hot Properties. He played Edward in DAG from 2000-2001. He had also acted in dozens of other television shows and major films. He also played Hunter Franklin in 12 episodes of the short-lived sitcom Oh, Grow Up, in which he was the lead actor in the show. He was also of an English descent. More recently he has appeared in Monster-in-Law (2005) and The Bill Engvall Show (2007). In 2011, he appeared on Hot in Cleveland playing an Amish bartender. He died of a heart attack on September 13, 2012, in Burbank, California.
