Sarah Lynn Gadon is a Canadian actress, best known for her roles as Gae in Letterkenny and most recently as Elisa Montgomery in True Detective.
Gadon first gained recognition for her performances in David Cronenberg's films A Dangerous Method (2011) and Cosmopolis (2012). She has guest starred in a number of television series, including Are You Afraid of the Dark, In a Heartbeat, Mutant X, and Dark Oracle. Her credits also include starring roles in Ruby Gloom and Alias Grace, recurring roles in Castle Rock, Murdoch Mysteries, Being Erica, Happy Town, and The Border. She has also worked as a voice actress on various productions. She will soon appear in the2020 limited TV Series Evel, based on the life of Evel Knievel.
Sarah spent much of her adolescence training as a performer as a Junior Associate at the National Ballet School of Canada and as a student at the Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts. Currently, she divides her time between film sets and academics as a Cinema Studies student at the prestigious University of Toronto.
