Well known for his theatrical performances, he provided a mix of music, humorous banter and sarcasm as a member of the Hey Hey team.
During his career, Red has appeared on Countdown, Neighbours and Big Brother. He lost a quarter of a million dollars on Who wants to be a Millionaire and written music for Blue Heelers. He has been a regular contributor to The Age newspaper. In his spare time Red also engaged in a fair amount of cross-dressing for a number of stage shows.
Red is also a regular on ABC's Einstein Factor, he was a judge on 7 Network's Australia's Got Talent, and has his own show on ABC radio 774.
