[none found]After graduating from Salford University, Peake trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Her first role out of drama school was in Victoria Wood (I)'s sitcom "Dinnerladies" (1998) which ran for two series. She made her professional stage debut at the Bolton Octagon in 1998's "Early One Morning".

- First became interested in acting at age 13, when she joined the Bolton Octagon Theatre's youth club.
- In _"Shameless" (2004)_ (qv), her character's boyfriend remarks that her passport photo resembles Myra Hindley. She later starred as Hindley in _See No Evil: The Moors Murders (2006) (TV)_ (qv).
