Balfour is currently in production on the independent Sci fi thriller, Skyline. And he was most recently seen in films that include: Dimension's Hell Ride, and Mandate Film's The Horsemen opposite 'Dennis Quaid', and Lionsgate Film's The Spirit alongside 'Eva Mendes'. In addition to his film career, Balfour was seen in the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Fox TV drama 24, reprising his season one role as Milo, the smart and eccentric resident computer expert at the CTU.

He has also appeared in an extensive list of television and big screen appearances throughout his career. Of late Balfour has taken on the roles of writer, director and producer for his production company OFF THE GRID ENTERTAINMENT. Balfour, like his "Haven castmates", resides in Los Angeles.
