Emily Rose Maier (born February 2, 1981, in Renton, Washington) is an American actress. She is best known for her role in the critically acclaimed Uncharted video games as Elena Fisher.
Rose has become one of television's fastest rising young stars with an already impressive and diverse body of work.
Rose holds a degree Master of Fine Arts in Acting from UCLA. She also graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with a degree in Theater Arts. She is the oldest of three children, with a younger sister and brother.
Rose is currently the star of Syfy's new supernatural drama series Haven which was renewed for a fourth 13-episode season on November 9, 2012. Rose plays the main character Audrey Parker who is an FBI agent sent to Haven, a seemingly tranquil seaside hamlet in Maine, to investigate a mysterious death. Instead, she finds herself entrenched in a decades-long town mystery and ends up quitting the FBI and joining the Haven municipal police department to assist in ridding the town of its "troubles." The series was adapted from the 'Stephen King' novella The Colorado Kid.
Rose most recently appeared on the final season of the long-running NBC drama series ER in which she played the role of Dr. Tracy Martin, an eager young intern who joins the hospital staff.
Other notable recurring roles include her breakout performance as Lena Branigan in ABC's hit drama series Brothers & Sisters, her role of Trish Merrick on CBS's Jericho and her performance as Cass in David Milch's HBO series John From Cincinnati. Additional TV credits include the USA pilot Operating Instructions, and guest starring roles in Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Without a Trace and Cold Case.
Rose stars in a new Hallmark Channel Original Movie The Thanksgiving House (2013). She plays a Boston lawyer, Mary Ross who inherits a house built on the land that may have hosted the first Thanksgiving.
Rose married long-time boyfriend Dairek Morgan (December 6, 2009) in Washington. They reside in Los Angeles with their two bunny rabbits and miniature schnauzer.
On January 15, 2013, Rose announced via Twitter that she and her husband were expecting a baby. The tweet included a YouTube pregnancy announcement. Miles Christian Morgan (b. April 29, 2013).
