Charlie Brill is an American actor who is married to Mitzi McCall, who used to team up with him on comedy routines. The pair performed one such routine on the February 9. 1964 episode of The Ed Sullivan Show, which also featured Frank Gorshin - and, in their first live appearance in the US, The Beatles.
He played Arne Darvin in "The Trouble with Tribbles" and "Trials and Tribble-ations" in Star Trek The Original Series.
- Brill met his wife, actress 'Mitzi McCall' (qv), when they both appeared at the 'Jerry Lewis (I)' (qv) Comedy Workshop at Paramount Studios in 1959. The couple have one daughter, 'Jennifer Brill' (qv).
- Godfather of 'Melissa Gilbert (I)' (qv)
- Along with 'Mitzi McCall' (qv) had the dubious distinction of being the comedy act to directly follow 'The Beatles' (qv)' first live performance on _"Toast of the Town" (1948)_ (qv) (aka The Ed Sullivan Show). The TV spot did little to help their careers - it was probably the most anti-climactic moment in television history.
