The Walking Dead panel drew quite the crowd in Hall H at Comic-Con 2014! Fans went all out to dress to for the occasion, with the living dead roaming around everywhere you looked:
The panel opened with a parody clip showing a bearded Rick and Glenn still trapped in the Terminus trailer eating the remains a cohort who failed to survive. After, fans got a sneak peek of the trailer for the extremely intense fifth season! Shortly after the trailer was released to Youtube, which you can watch below:
Though the new season may be more serious than ever, the panel was kept light-hearted for the Q&A with cast members Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, and Michael Cudlitz. When asked about his similarities to his character, Reedus responded with "There's a whole bunch of me in Daryl and a whole bunch of Daryl in me." After pausing and reflecting on his word choice he added "Wow that sounds really bad."
As for what to expect in Season 5, producers confirmed you will see the story of Terminus. The characters will be be defined in the upcoming plot lines, determining how they will move forward after all having done regrettable things. You can also expect the season to stick more closely to the comic books.
