Hi guys! Hope you are all having a good summer. Very hot here in NY. I cook very early in the a.m. these days. This morning cooked green zucchini, carrots and baby bok choy. I also made roast chicken and that is great sliced (served cold) with a tasty sauce. Now ged, I saw that face you made.. Green vegetables can be very good with herbs, etc. So, Mr. Ged what do you like to eat in the summer months?
@p6 hahaha can't breathe
@tash forcing down greens whenever I can, don't enjoy them much, greens are best served with lashings of meat!
Excellent answer p6, I salute you for your wit.
Naw, ged you got it all wrong. Greens are best served with ... greens! Like broccoli, green beans,
kale, spinach, etc. Meat! No, no meat for you! From now on its chicken and turkey for you!
Unfortunately, the butcher order I placed arrived a short time ago at Lua's Place. There must of been a mix up. There are several thick T-Bone steaks in the refrigerator. Did you have something to do
with that? But, to make up for it is a lovely slab of Vermont, creamy yellow ... wait for it ...
Cheddar cheese! Yes, I can just see the happiness on your face. (smirk smirk)
I certainly know my way around a T-Bone steak so leave that mix up I'll be happy to deal with!
You and p6 enjoy your vermont, try it with vermouth.
Vermouth? As in a martini? Yuck.
Yup! and yuck is right haha!
Another great Formula 1 race. So there still is some hope for the future!
Faint hope IMHO
@romeo First blood to the Aussies!
still a long way to go
@romeo, Steve Smith out of the third test...
hey guys, lunch time ... hamburgers, turkey burger for me, a nice big, green salad for ged ...
uh, ged .... cheese on the burger for you?? NO NO OMG so very sorry, I forgot ... ha!
delicious oven baked potatoes fresh fruit for dessert
radishes on the salad for me along with some fresh tomatoes, plus some shredded longhorn. please.
How about some horseradish sauce for burgers to spice them up.
Oh yea! Love horseradish! My grandpa used to make it in an old bathtub out in the barn, mixing it with a small boat paddle (after it was crushed) while wearing a WWII gas mask. It was quite the sight.
My father used to make horseradish. I remember my eyes burning!
HaHa I love it even on a bacon butty!
I love horseradish best on a roast beef sandwich (cheese optional)
@p6 you almost had me until you mentioned the c word.

This morning we cooked green zucchini In Instant Pot Cooker, carrots and I also made fried chicken and it was sliced (served cold) with a delicious sauce. Well, Ged, I see the face that you do. Green vegetables can handle herbs, etc. very well.
@romeo, are there any horse racing superstars coming through to replace Winx?
