TURN Renewed For Final Season

AMC announced today that TURN: Washington's Spies has been renewed for a fourth and final season. The period drama has been a strong performer over the course of its run, with its most-recent third season averaging 1.2 million total viewers.
The cable network has ordered a final 10 episodes to conclude the series. Look for Season 4 to premiere in 2017.

TURN Renewed For Season 3

AMC announced today that TURN: Washington's Spies has been renewed for a third season. The period drama has continued to fare well in its second season, averaging 1.6 million viewers and ranking as the third-most affluent scripted drama on ad-supported TV among adults 18-49.
The network has ordered 10 new episodes for Season 3 of TURN, which is scheduled to return in 2016.

Stephen Root To Recur On 'Turn'
Stephen Root has signed for a recurring role on AMC’s upcoming new drama Turn, based on the book Washington Spies by Alexander Rose. Set in the summer of 1778, Turn centers on farmer Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell) who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America’s fight for independence. Root will play the eccentric and secretive Nathaniel Sackett, a civilian member of the Committee to Detect and Defeat Conspiracies, an 18th century proto-CIA.

Ian Kahn Cast As George Washington In 'Turn'
Ian Kahn (aka Danny from Dawson’s Creek) is joining AMC’s Revolutionary War-era spy thriller Turn as George Washington. A General in the Continental Army at the time Turn takes place, Kahn’s Washington is a smart, self-conscious, self-aware leader who is always striving for self-improvement and perfection. Kahn will recur throughout Season One and has an option to be a series regular in Season Two. Turn is set to premiere Sunday, April 6th at 9 pm.
