Based on the book “Washington’s Spies,” written by Alexander Rose, “Turn” is set in the summer of 1778 and tells the story of New York farmer, Abe Woodhull, who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America’s fight for independence.
AMC announced today that TURN: Washington's Spies has been renewed for a fourth and final season. The period drama has been a strong performer over the course of its run, with its most-recent third season averaging 1.2 million total viewers.
The cable network has ordered a final 10 episodes to conclude the series. Look for Season 4 to premiere in 2017.
