Based on the Transporter film series by Luc Besson. Chris Vance stars as Frank Martin a driver for hire. Frank will deliver anything, anywhere, no questions asked, for the right price, and lives by three, unbreakable rules, which he constantly breaks.
The Transporter TV Series has been stopped in motion.
The action-adventure series, which airs on TNT in the US, has been cancelled after two seasons and will not return for Season 3, writer Frank Spotnitz revealed.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Spotnitz put the cancellation of Transporter: The Series down to “bad timing”:
“I don’t think it’s going to come back, sadly. It did really well in Canada, but I think in France it was shown immediately after the Charlie Hebdo shootings – I don’t think anybody was watching drama, so it was bad timing unfortunately.”
However, Spotnitz did say that he would love to resurrect Transporter for Season 3, should the opportunity arise in the future:
“Everything, I do, I have to love it – I can’t fake it! So yeah, I would.”
