'The Young And The Restless' Casts Gina Tognoni As Phylis Summers
Soap opera vet and two-time Daytime Emmy winner Gina Tognoni is the new Phyllis Summers on CBS' The Young and the Restless, replacing fellow Emmy winner Michelle Stafford. This is pretty big news for fans of daytime's No. 1 soap, since Phyllis has been in a coma for a year, so with Tognoni's casting, it looks like she's waking up. Tognoni will make her first apperance on the soap in late summer.
