Episode Quotes

Sgt. Abraham Ford: So you tell me how in the holy hell did you possibly kill this truck?
Dr. Eugene Porter: A fully amped-up state and an ignorance of rapid-firing weapons.
Sgt. Abraham Ford: Son of a dick!
Michonne: I'm sorry. I'm not very good at making boys your age laugh.
Carl Grimes: I was laughing. Inside.
Michonne: Toddlers find me funny. Two, three-year-olds.
Carl Grimes: What do you mean toddlers?
Michonne: I had a three-year-old son and he happened to find me extremely funny.

  • Goof (plot holes): The claimers would have immediately known someone was in the house, because the couch had been pushed against the front door and the doors and windows were locked.
  • Goof (continuity error): When Glenn and Sgt. Abraham Ford have a fight in the road, there are some shots of Dr. Eugene Porter at the back of the truck. One of the shots is reversed as Dr. Porter is suddenly on the left and facing to the left. The contents and camouflage on the back of the truck also show that the shot is reversed. The next shot of Dr. Porter shows him back on the right side behind the truck, and then he walks to the left.

  • The special effects team uses many methods to simulate bullet hits. The crew members are firing dust pellets from paint ball guns.
  • In The Talking Dead Poll, the question was: "What's the most terrifying thing in the zombie apocalypse?"; Eugene's mullet won by 47%.
  • As Rick is hiding from the Claimers, one of the bedrooms he hides in has a poster on the wall of the Norman Reedus movie Boondock Saints.
  • Andrew Lincoln performs most of his own stunts, including the drop from the roof. However he did say the most dangerous part was being distracted by co-star Norman Reedus who was mooning him from below.
  • SPOILER: First appearance of the brown jacket Rick will go on to wear throughout the next few seasons
