Episode Quotes

Mika Samuels: I don't have to be tough, I can run. I'm good at that.
Mika Samuels: I don't wanna hurt anyone. I don't wanna be mean.
Lizzie Samuels: You have to be sometimes. But just sometimes.
Carol Peletier: Look at the flowers, Lizzie. Just look at the flowers.

  • Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The goofs regarding Judith are incorrect, the baby is in a soft baby carrier on Tyreese's back. Shown in all four final shots.
  • Goof (continuity error): After Carol tells Lizzie to look at the flowers, we see Carol standing behind and to the side of Lizzie. In the next shot, Carol is directly behind Lizzie.
  • Goof (continuity error): When Carol begins to hug Lizzie after the walker attack, Lizzie is holding her gun in her left hand, but in the next shot, Lizzie is holding it in her right hand.

  • SPOILER: Lizzie and Mika are based on two boys from the comics that Andrea and Dale take in much like Carol does here. Likewise, one kills his brother and is then killed for his crime, but in the comic the mentally disturbed brother is killed by Carl while the adults are talking over what to do with him.
  • There is an incomplete puzzle on the dining room table during Carol's confession to Tyreese. According to the director, Michael E. Satrazemis, when completed, the puzzle forms a photograph of Carol's long dead daughter Sophia who died years prior.
