They are the next evolutionary leap of mankind, a generation of humans born with paranormal abilities - the Tomorrow People. Stephen Jameson stands at the crossroads between the world we know and the shifting world of the future.
Mark Ross Pellegrino (born April 9, 1965) is an American actor of film and television. He is best known ...
Dr. Jedikiah Price ~ "Kill or be killed, John".
Dr. Jedikiah "Jed " Price, an evolutionary biologist, who is the head of a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra.
Jedikiah is determined to contain the "threat" of the Tomorrow People, who represent the next stage in human evolution. He is the older brother of Roger Price, the brother-in-law of Marla Jameson, and the uncle of Stephen and Luca Jameson. He is a primary antagonist, former arch-nemesis and sometimes unwilling ally, of The Tomorrow People, though his true agenda of helping humanity appears to be genuine.
He appears as the main antagonist of the series until The Founder is revealed to be the true antagonist. He was in love with a Tomorrow Person, Morgan, with whom he has fathered a (as yet unborn) child. However Jedikiah has a love/hate relationship with John Young, his former student whom he sees as a son, like John sees him as a father. Despite having tried to kill John numerous times, Jedikiah still cares for him, but later recruits John as the core of a new organization at the end of Season One.
Ultra sees the Tomorrow People as a very real existential threat from a rival species, and the outcast group has been forced to hide out in an abandoned subway station just beneath the surface of the human world. Trading in secrets, Jedikiah offers Stephen the chance for a normal life with his family and best friend, Astrid, if he will assist in the struggle to isolate and eradicate the Tomorrow People.
Not much is known about Jedikiah's parents or childhood, but we do know that his brother Roger was one of the founding members of the Tomorrow People. The Founder hints that Jedikiah was jealous of his brother's abilities; this is also strongly suggested by flashbacks. In Thanatos, it is also shown that Roger taught Jedikiah tricks about how to resist having his mind read. The fact that they shared this and worked together in later life suggests that they were close in childhood.
