"Be seeing you" is a commonly heard phrase in The Prisoner (UK) (1967), The Prisoner (2009), and was also one of Patrick McGoohan's catchphrases in Danger Man (UK) and "Danger Man" (1964) . The old man trying to escape, "93," was wearing a black blazer with white piping, white trousers and white plimsolls. This was the standard garb or uniform in the original series The Prisoner (UK). The commentary for this episode, with producer Trevor Hopkins and editor 'Jan Miles', reveals that the jacket that "93" is wearing is in fact one that Patrick McGoohan wore when starring as "6" in the original series. As an even more direct link to the original series, as the commentary also explains, the creators of the new series had approached McGoohan about taking the part of the old man in this sequence, to hint or imply that this was the central character from the original series still trying to escape. The commentary does not clearly say whether McGoohan had agreed to take the part, but in any case he died in January, 2009, before filming began.
