Episode Quotes

Dr. Rudy Wells: Get anything?
Chris Williams: Yeah, a headache. [the phone rings, Chris picks up the receiver] Hello?
Oscar Goldman: [on other line] Hi Chris, Oscar.
Chris Williams: Hi Oscar, what's up?
Oscar Goldman: I'm calling about what's down, pal.
Princess Aura: Just because something is hard for you to believe, does that mean it's not true?
Chris Williams: Rudy and I are flying out to your area this afternoon.
Jaime Sommers: Really? What's the occasion?
Chris Williams: [in a pretend impatient tone, but with playful fondness] Oh, no occasion - - Rudy and I chartered a plane to come all the way out there just to see your beautiful face.
Jaime Sommers: [in a casual amused tone to show that she doesn't believe him, but with obvious appreciation for his compliment] Yeah, yeah...

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): An alien materializes in a house and shoots twice with a noisy stun-gun making Aura and Max slump senseless to the floor. The Bionic Woman's ear should have heard all of this easily.
  • Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): Jaime is singing and playing a piano, yet the accompanying music includes a faint "background filler" of strings and woodwinds.
  • Goof (crew or equipment visible): When the satellite is being moved from the lake by the aliens, the wires that are hoisting it up and out, are clearly visible.
  • Goof (continuity error): When the trackers from Ulo remotely raise the satellite from the lake and lower it to the bank, it is clean and dripping with water, and is lowered onto a fairly smooth patch of sandy soil. Yet when the mercs approach the satellite moments later, it is dry and very mud-caked, and there are lots of visible footprints in the loose soil of the bank around where the satellite is resting.
  • Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): The indicator-lights on the scanning/manipulating devices that the Ulo trackers are using often do not illuminate, even though the devices are making the homing-signal strength-level tones.

Trivia

  • Chris expresses a slight "foot fetish" tendency when he fondly tells Jaime that he loves her bionic feet. The gentle delicate Princess Aura is always shown to be barefoot, an apparent implied reference to Chris's interest in slender shapely feet.
