Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

It all started with four pet turtles and a canister of Ooze. When the turtles are bathed in the ooze, they begin to grow, to change, to mutate! Raised in the New York City sewers by Master Splinter, who teaches them how to be experts at martial arts, they wage war against crime and evil in its many forms.

In 2001, Mirage Studios pitched an idea to Waner Bros. for a new TMNT cartoon series that would have either aired on Kids WB! or Cartoon Network. After creating an animatic, Warner Bros. passed on the show. After that a 5-minute pitch tape for a 3D animated CGI TV series was produced by Rainbow Studios for the purpose of shopping around to networks. However, no networks were interested at the time, so the project was scrapped. Some of the "new" aspects of this series (e.g. the Battle Shell) are borrowed from the failed CGI pitch tape.
