Jules, the perfect sorority sister, balances her life of being a college student while also serving up vigilante justice on her school's campus. It is being reported that MTV has decided against moving forward with any further seasons of Sweet/Vicious. The move does not come as much of a surprise, as the dark comedy's freshman run struggled to find much of an audience over the course of its 10 episodes.
While the show garnered its share of critical praise, it ended up ranking as the cable network's lowest-rated scripted series of the season. Its lack of viewership was cited directly by an MTV spokesperson as the reason for today's cancellation.
Sweet/Vicious was an offbeat action comedy that followed two girls who never really felt like they truly belonged. Deciding to team up as an undercover dynamic duo, the wannabe vigilantes sought to bring justice to those who get away with abuse on their college campus.
