  • Episode 03 - Goof (plot holes): In the beginning of the episode, the time that passes between Dr Watson leaving his and Sherlock's apartment and the explosion across 221b Baker Street, is less than a minute. However, Dr Watson only hears about the incident the next morning. He couldn't have gotten so far away from Bake
  • Episode 02 - In this episode, Seb Wilkes (played by Bertie Carvel) notes that he and Sherlock Holmes had been "in uni together". Benedict Cumberbatch and Carvel played college friends in the TV drama Hawking (2004) (TV).
  • Episode 03 - Goof (continuity error): When on the case of Connie Prince, the TV shows "Make-over Queen Connie Prince died at 48". DI Lestrade then says she was 54.
  • Episode 01 - Sherlock kissing Mrs. Hudson on the cheek wasn't scripted. Benedict Cumberbatch had known Una Stubbs since he was very young, and it was his reaction on being able to work with someone who was like a mother to him.
  • Episode 02 - Goof (plot holes): The graffiti artist is apparently painting in the same style made famous by Banksy.
