  • Episode 02 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the main criminal of the episode is holding what appears to be a Walther PPK or a similar type pistol, Sherlock states that "That's a semi-automatic, if you fire it, the bullet will travel at over a thousand meters per se
  • Episode 03 - The music used in the Planetarium presentation on Jupiter is from The Planets suite by Gustav Holst, but it is the first movement ("Mars, the Bringer of War"), not the fourth ("Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity").
  • Episode 03 - SPOILER: The actress playing the blind woman strapped to one of the bombs is Rita Davies. She also plays a minor character in the short lived series My Life in Film, featuring Andrew Scott, who also plays Moriarty, the man who strapped that bomb onto her.
  • Episode 02 - Goof (continuity error): Holmes is "backstage" while the Chinese circus is performing. He sprays a single, yellow line across the mirror.
