When filthy-rich video store magnate Johnny Rose, his soap star wife Moira, and their two kids - uber-hipster son David and socialite daughter Alexis - suddenly find themselves broke, they are forced to live in Schitt's Creek, a small, depressing town they once bought as a joke. They must confront their new-found poverty and discover what it means to be a family, all within the rural city limits of their new home.
Schitt’s Creek Renewed for Season 4 Before Season 3 could air the finale(April 5) on Pop, the show got renewed on 10 March 2017. The acquired show airs in Canada on CBC.
This is the first time Pop is picking up the series simultaneously with CBC. An indication of its importance to the U.S. network. (Pop’s previous Schitt’s Creek renewals had come weeks after CBC’s)
Schitt’s Creek is Pop’s most-watched original series in Live+7 with more than a half-million nightly viewers. Season three is up double-digits from season two (+20%) and season one (+39%), with all key demos delivering increases.
