People of Earth

People of Earth is about a support group for alien abductees. It centers on skeptical journalist Ozzie Graham, who investigates a support group to write about the members' supposed alien encounters. The more he digs into their oddball claims, the more he realizes there is truth in their stories and possibly even signs that point to his own alien abduction. Ozzie now finds himself a part of this eclectic group of misfits, all the while struggling with the reality of it all.

TBS Renews People Of Earth

It is being reported that TBS has renewed People of Earth for a second season. The good news comes a week ahead of the freshman comedy's first-season finale, which airs in back-to-back episodes next Monday.
That will wrap up a successful 10-episode debut run that saw the show become one of the Top 10 new cable comedies of 2016 in the adults 18-49 demographic, thanks to continued growth over the course of the season. When factoring in all of its viewing platforms, each episode of the series currently reaches an audience of 4.3 million people.
People of Earth follows a journalist who starts investigating an alien abductee support group. His initial skepticism subsides after digging deeper into their bizarre claims, to the point where he realizes that there may be evidence of his own alien abduction.
10 new episodes have been ordered for Season 2 of People of Earth, which will likely return later in 2017.
