A "mocumentary" of local government. Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), mid-level employee of the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, is assigned to help a local nurse to convert a construction site into a community park. With a camera crew recording her every gaff and mishap. All in all, Leslie hopes to complete the project, despite the many obstacles that are placed in her way.

'Parks And Recreation' Renewed For A Seventh And Final Season
Parks and Recreation has officially been renewed for a seventh and final season. At the Television Critics Association’s most recent press tour, NBC president Robert Greenblatt informally announced the comedy, featuring funny lady and Golden Globe winner Amy Poehler, would be back for a seventh season but now it has been confirmed by NBC.
