John Bell will play Ian Murray who is described as a tall, gangly Scottish kid with a heart of gold, a stubborn streak, and a penchant for getting into trouble.
Wil Johnson will play Joe Abernathy who is a fellow doctor-in-training whom Claire befriends in medical school. Joe is a loyal confidante with great affection for Claire.
