  • Episode 07 - Goof (anachronisms): Selfridge's list of German business partners contains addresses with five-digit postal codes. Postal codes were first introduced in Germany in 1941, five-digit ones not before 1993.
  • Episode 09 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Delphine is talking to Harry Selfridge when up in the Palm Court after she fails to fill it as promised, she speaks directly to Mr Selfridge and calls him Mr LeClare.
  • Episode 04 - Goof (factual errors): When Miss Mardle makes her donation for the chocolates, the amount is a halfpenny, yet on two occasions she inserts penny pieces into the collecting box.
  • Episode 07 - Goof (anachronisms): When German goods are removed from Selfridge's store because of World War I (1914-1918), a box with stripes in black, red and gold is to be seen.
