Think the days of bootleggers, backwoods stills and "white lightning" are over? Not a chance! It's a multi-million dollar industry. But perhaps more importantly to the moonshiners, it's a tradition dating back hundreds of years, passed down to them from their forefathers.
Jim Tom is a moonshiner, gifted storyteller and one of the few living legends of the moonshine world. He's been a biker, pilot, HAM radio operator, and musician, but, through it all, he's made and drank corn liquor. Sixty years making moonshine and still going strong, Jim Tom even brewed while he was in prison.
