  • Episode 07 - Goof (factual errors): When Kolchak is viewing the two cars involved in the wreck, there is old rust visible on the damaged areas. The cars were obviously damaged longer than actually implied.
  • Episode 11 - Goof (factual errors): Kolchak correctly cites the fact that the swastika is an Indian character used to ward off evil, but the Indian swastika points to the left. The Nazi swastika - or, hakenkruis as the Germans called it - is reversed it so that it points to the right. Many of the swastikas in back of the India
  • Episode 05 - Goof (factual errors): When Kolchak tries to get to the bridge he says he and the Captain served on the Yorktown in 1944. The crewman blocking his access points out that the Yorktown went down in 1942. While the first Yorktown (CV-5) was sunk at Midway in 1942, the second Yorktown (CV-10) (renamed from the Bon Hom
  • Episode 01 - When Kolchak escapes the Ripper's home, there is a brief glimpse of the killer's face: brown hair with a drooping mustache and a beardless face. This corresponds exactly to the known descriptions of Jack the Ripper, according to witness statements from 1888.
  • Episode 18 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Mendel Boggs denounces Minerva Musso for manhandling a fourteenth century shield, and then likewise dumps it on a table.
