Veteran hidden camera prank series Impractical Jokers will be returning for a sixth season. The announcement was made last night at the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel, with truTV later touting its multiplatform success and large amount of fan engagement.
Impractical Jokers has been a top performer for the cable network since its 2011 debut, with its fifth season, which premiered in February, continuing the trend drawing strong audience numbers in its Thursday night time slot.
Another 26 episodes have been ordered for Season 6, with a premiere expected in 2017.
