[show]In the episode where Mr. Cooper plays basketball for the Golden State Warriors, the practice scenes were taped at the Warriors' home court in Oakland, but the game itself was recorded at the University of California's gymnasium in Berkeley; it was an actual pre-season game against Phoenix, held in Berkeley because Kevin Johnson, who was playing for the Suns after graduating from Cal, was having his college number retired that night. The scenes of Mark Curry playing were not specially scripted; he did, in fact, actually play in the game.
- The show's original theme song was performed by stars Holly Robinson Peete and Dawnn Lewis, and EnVogue.
- The first episode is filmed in the same set as Growing Pains. In the beginning of the episode, Mark Curry meets Alan Thicke in the set and they make some jokes about the Growing Pains.
