Grimm Ending After Six Seasons

NBC announced today that Grimm will be ending after Season 6. The veteran supernatural drama has been a solid performer over the course of its run, developing a devoted fan base that brought consistent ratings to its Friday night time slot.
While never a breakout hit, Grimm found a nice little niche to settle into that kept it on the air for over 100 episodes. The show currently ranks as the network's second-longest-running series after Law & Order: SVU, which is well ahead at 18 seasons.
Grimm will be returning for its sixth and final season on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 8:00pm. Season 6 will be shorter than the typical 22 episodes it tallied in Seasons 1 through 5, with an order of 13 episodes to conclude the series. In the show's final stretch, fans can look forward to the long-awaited showdown between Nick and Captain Renard.

theprisoner6 had it almost perfectly right. It has been replaced by "First Date", a reality show.

I love this show and have bought all it's seasons on DVD to watch over and over. Maybe it's not the station that wants out maybe it's the actors? Either way hate to see it go, hope to see it on another station in re-runs

I must agree that the cancellation of Grimm is absolute nonsense and I can only hope that the show may be picked up by another channel like Sci-fy or FX or TNT since it had excellent followers and considering being on friday nights maintained a faithful audience. Lets hope that some program manager sees the inherent quality of this show and picks it up for many more seasons.

I like the storyline and the new wesen but it's poorly directed and edited. Sometimes I try to count the errors in an episode and I can usually get at least twenty. I like the show, but those mistakes ruin it.

So they're not only going to cancel the show, they're going to cut the number of episodes down from 22 to 13?!?
