[show]Every episode, except for "Counterfeit Goof", was released in remastered high definition on iTunes and Amazon Video on February 20, 2017. While the content of the episodes themselves was the same, the intro sequence was altered: The original animation (that is, the animation created specifically for the intro) was removed and replaced with different clips, and the animation of Goofy and Max high-fiving and posing in front of the logo was re-drawn. Also, the end credits for each episode were re-typed and re-timed to accommodate for the removal of the "Walt Disney Television" logo at the end.
- First Disney television cartoon to be a situation comedy rather than an action or adventure cartoon.
- The town of Spoonerville is named after J. Michael Spooner, who designed most of the background layouts for the series.
