Main Characters in this Episode

Dr. Zoidberg: Is bread free?
Waiter at Elzars: Yes.

- Goof (plot holes): During the Academy Awards for best soft-drink product placement, 'Star Trek - The Pepsi Generation' is listed as a nominee yet we find out in later episodes that even mentioning Star Trek is forbidden.
- The character Harold Zoid, Dr. Zoidberg's uncle and once-famous silent hologram comedian, is an homage to Harold Lloyd, a silent movie comedian popular in the early 20th century. Zoid has the same trademark full-moon spectacles as Lloyd, not to mention strikingly similar names and mannerisms.
