Community

The student body at Greendale higher education Community College is made up of high-school losers, newly divorced housewives, and old people who want to keep their minds active. Within these not-so-hallowed halls, Community focuses on a band of misfits, at the center of which is a fast-talkin' lawyer whose degree has been revoked, who form a study group and end up learning a lot more about themselves than they do about their course work.

Hulu May Rescue 'Community' For Season Six
Streaming service Hulu is reportedly in talks with Sony Pictures Television to revive the recently cancelled NBC comedy series Community. The talks are in the very preliminary stages and, while both sides are optimistic, it is unclear if a deal can be reached to pick up a sixth season of the comedy series from Dan Harmon. The news of the negotiations comes less than three weeks after NBC pulled the plug on the comedy series, despite the fact that it pulled in stronger rating than Parks and Recreation, which was renewed for the 2014-2015 season. Such a deal for a sixth season of Community had been hinted at by series creator Dan Harmon for some time, even before the comedy was cancelled.

SPOILER: A list of disclaimers in the end tag of the Season 6 finale, narrated by show creator Dan Harmon: - Dice not included. - Some assembly required. - Lines between perception, desire, and reality may become blurred, redundant, or interchangeable. - Characters may hook up with no regard for your emotional investment. - Some episodes too conceptual to be funny, some too funny to be immersive, and some so immersive they still aren't funny. - Consistency between seasons may vary. - Viewers may be measured by a secretive obsolete system based on selected participants keeping handwritten journals of what they watch. - Show may be canceled and moved to the Internet where it turns out tens of millions were watching the whole time. - May not matter. - Fake commercial may end with disclaimer gag which may descend into vain Chuck Lorre-sque rant by narcissistic creator. - Creator may be unstable. - Therapist may have told creator this is not how you make yourself a good person. - Life may pass by while we ignore or mistreat those close to us. - Those close to us may be those watching. - Those people may want to know I love them but I may be incapable of saying it. - Contains pieces the size of a child's esophagus.

SPOILER: In one episode Abed (Dani Pudi) tries to seduce Annie (Alison Brie) in order to impress the group and he impersonates Don Draper, the main character from the show Mad Men (2007). Alison Brie appeared throughout the seven-season run of "Mad Men" as Trudy Campbell, and kept the role when she was cast as Annie; Brie has said there have been several occasions where she would film scenes as Trudy in the morning and then immediately head over to the "Community" cast to begin working on her scenes there, and that both shows were 100% supportive of her work and made sure the schedules fit.
