An animated series based on the movie of the same name. Marty, Doc Brown, Jules and Verne travel through time in the Doctor's modified DeLorean, bouncing from one era to the next where a different adventure awaits them each time. Between shows there are live-action segments featuring Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown with Bill Nye the Science Guy.

- The theme song was "Back In Time", which was performed by Huey Lewis and the News at the end of the first film. However, the version used in the series was not sung by the group.
- Marty's middle name is revealed to be "Seamus" in the series. He was named after Seamus McFly from "Back to the Future Part III" (1990).
